Item Closing Conflict: Prevents closing a successor task before its predecessor is completed.
Start-End Conflict: Ensures that a successor’s start or end dates cannot be set earlier than those of its predecessor.
Subtask Closing Conflict: Blocks task closure if it has open subtasks to ensure all related work is finished.
Subtask Planning: Prevents subtasks from being scheduled outside the parent task’s timeline.
Start Date Conflict: Ensures that tasks aren’t scheduled before their assigned start date.
End Date Conflict: Blocks scheduling tasks after their end date.
Due date conflict: Prevents scheduling beyond the task’s deadline.

Validations help you proactively manage conflicts, prevent errors, and enforce essential rules, leading to a more streamlined and reliable workflow for your team.

Action Options: Choose from three validation actions—Allow, Warning, and Deny—to control how the system responds to tasks and actions.
Bulk Actions Support: Validations apply to both individual tasks and bulk updates, ensuring consistency and compliance across your projects.

To access the Validations settings, go to Settings > Automations > Validations. From there, you can configure and manage the validations that best meet your team’s needs.
